Privacy & Analytics

A short, plain explanation of what this site collects about visitors — and what it doesn't.

Analytics

This site uses Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool, to understand which pages get read and how visitors generally find the site. Umami is cookieless by design: it does not set any tracking cookie, does not fingerprint devices, and cannot follow you across other websites.

What it records is limited to anonymised, aggregate data: which pages were viewed, the referring site (e.g. a search engine or social network), and general browser, device type, and country information derived from your connection at the moment of the visit. Your IP address itself is not stored. None of this is tied to your name, email, or any other personal identifier, and it can't be used to identify you individually.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own, and the analytics tool described above does not use cookies either. There is currently no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Third-party content

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and this page's own links may point to external sites (LinkedIn, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, academic journals, and similar). The contact form is handled by Formspree, which receives whatever name, email, and message you choose to submit, solely to deliver it as an email. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which are outside this site's control.

Questions

If you have any questions about this page, feel free to use the contact form or get in touch on LinkedIn.
